Frequently Asked Questions About Ettore

What makes Ettore different from other window cleaning brands?

Ettore's story starts with its founder, Ettore Steccone — the acknowledged inventor of the modern-day squeegee. Since 1936, the brand has been built around one mission: making the professional window cleaner's job easier and more efficient. Now celebrating 90 years in business, Ettore remains family-owned and manufactures the majority of its products right here in the USA.

Who are Ettore products designed for?

Ettore was built for the professional window cleaner first — and that heritage shows in every product. Over the years, the line has expanded to serve homeowners who want professional-quality results. In fact, one of the most common questions homeowners ask their window cleaner is: "What tools are you using?" The answer is almost always Ettore.

Does Ettore's quality justify the price?

Ettore is competitively priced against other professional-grade tools. The real comparison isn't against premium brands — it's against supermarket squeegees, where there's simply no comparison. The secret is Ettore's rubber blades: every single piece of rubber that leaves their facility is hand-inspected for defects, ensuring streak-free results every time.

Where are Ettore products made?

The majority of Ettore products are manufactured in the USA. Their rubber blades — the heart of every squeegee — are hand-inspected before leaving the facility, a quality control standard that sets them apart from mass-produced alternatives.

Does Ettore stand behind their products?

Ettore stands behind everything they manufacture. As a family-owned business, they take customer concerns personally — if there's ever an issue, their team is always open to hearing it and working toward a resolution. That commitment to service is a core part of what makes Ettore a brand professionals have trusted for nearly a century.

Can you make a mistake when buying Ettore products?

Rarely. Ettore's mission is to continually provide quality tools for both professional and commercial use — so whether you're a daily-use pro or a homeowner wanting a cleaner finish, the lineup is designed to deliver. When in doubt, our experts can point you to the right tool for your specific application.
