Yes. You do need this.
Normally I use the yellow whale tail for rear tail lights. But lately some newer cars are too far out of reach do to the angle of rear window. This product works perfectly. I didn't want to buy another tool but in its first day of use it paid for itself!

Youre kidding yourself if you dont have one of these for getting behind rear deck brake lights. Worth every penny . Plenty of leverage . Good for flat glass hard to reach installs too , and they have a flat glass version as well.

the industry back window standard tool
this is a must! pricey tool at first but the best back window tool in my opinion. I have used this tool for years. Its great and gets the film flat. unless you are using sub-par film this will work for exactly what it claims to do!
